 Project to Support for Anand Grah (आनंद गृह)Anand Service Society wants support for Anand Grah (आनंद गृह) (Home of happiness for Deaf and speech impaired (Destitute)).It has manage to get land and now it wants support for orphanage cum vocational & rehabilitation centre for deaf and speech impaired children/woman who were found missing / left out / victim / destitues. As there is no such exclusive orphanage/shelter home for homeless deaf and speech impaired persons to cater to their special needs. The highlighted case of Geeta a Deaf and speech impaired girl came from Pakistan by couple’s efforts along with Govt of India efforts is residing with this couple in their Deaf disabled institute. Like Geeta’s case there are about 200 missing deaf and speech impaired children/woman who needs shelter If these people will be left on the road then there are more chances of exploitation. This society struggled for 17 years to get Govt land allotment and at last Government responded that it cannot give land on subsidized rate and it was sad moment for its founder couple. Gyanendra’s Father Late Babulal Purohit gave the retirement money and helped in purchasing a piece of land for orphanage cum rehabilitation center. Now this Society needs support for Anand Grah. The Society has obligation of incurring expenditure of Rs 5000/-per month per head approximately on all of these inmates which includes food, clothing lodging, education, training and recreation.   The Cost comes around 5000 x 100 inmates x 12 month = 1,20,00000 (1 Crore twenty lakhs Approx.) for which We expect support for at least 5 years and then we will be gradually shifting on self sustainable model.
